Located in the historic Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia, Bargain Thrift Center has been a fixture of the community since 1985.

Our store started with humble roots — the founder’s part-time hobby of trash picking. Bargain Thrift Center started as a furniture store, but has evolved over the years to sell a little bit of everything. We’ve been turning discards into treasures for over 40 years—selling anything and everything you could find in your home.
Buying second hand is a win/ win — its an affordable way to stock your closet, your kitchen, and your home, while giving perfectly good items a second life. Every year we keep hundreds of thousands of pounds of good out of landfills, and put them in the hands of people who want them.
